1. Sales Associate

Location: [Road / Remote]
Type: Part-Time / Commission based

Job Description:
As a Sales Associate at Wood Island Studio, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and promoting our unique products and services. You will assist customers in selecting the perfect pieces for their needs, answer questions about our offerings, and ensure an outstanding shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide assistance.

  • Understand customer needs and recommend products.

  • Handle sales transactions.

  • Assist in maintaining the inventory.

  • Help with the layout and visual merchandising.

  • Work closely with the design and photography teams to stay informed about new products.

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred.

  • Passion for art, design and sales.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.

2. Designer

Location: Remote
Type: Freelance

Job Description:
Wood Island Studio is seeking a creative and skilled designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and a passion for creating stunning, functional designs. You will collaborate with our team to develop unique designs that align with the vision of our studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Design custom pieces and collections for clients.

  • Collaborate with photographers to create visually compelling layouts.

  • Assist with creating digital and print marketing materials.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends and techniques.

  • Manage design projects from concept to completion.

  • Work with clients to understand their needs and translate them into design ideas.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).

  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work (please include a link or attach your portfolio).

  • Experience with both digital and print design.

  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.
